A church with a trusted heritage: Our
congregation is an extension of the long
established Trinity International Church of
Paris (meeting in the Ēglise Réformée, Jardins
du Luxembourg, Paris, and a member of the
Fédération Evangélique de France). We stand in
the historic tradition of the great Reformers of
the church – Jean Calvin, Martin Luther, and
Martin Bucer of Strasbourg.
A partnership which spans the globe:
Along with other international and national
churches around the world, we are members of The
Christian and Missionary Alliance (founded in
1887), with 3 million members in over 70
countries. Our worldwide family of churches
gives us a privileged partnership especially
with our French sister churches as well as with
our Chinese and other Southeast Asian churches
in France.
A leadership which is accountable: Our
membership in the Alliance insures our
accountability, upholding the highest standards
not only in financial accounting but also in the
integrity of our pastoral ministry and of
pastoral succession through the years. In the
same way, we are organizing our church as an
association in full accordance with French law.
A commitment to join hands with others: We are
in Strasbourg to serve and cooperate with other
Christian churches, especially with those who
have come together in the city-wide fellowship
of the ENTENTE. We want as well to build bridges
of better understanding with those in the Jewish
community and with those in the Muslim community
of our city.
An admiration and love for France: We are here
in France to serve both the international
community in this so-called “capital city of the
European Union” and also
French people in our so
historic city. We are here for France, and we
also desire to help men and women from other
cultures become better integrated into the daily
life and culture of France.
