We live … what we believe!
May we share with you where we stand
as a church? You can see it in our logo!

The Cross stands for …
Christ, our Savior
Jesus
Christ is the Person of God who became a man, wholly God and wholly
man, to reveal the love of God for all. On the Cross, He himself
paid the death penalty for our sins and in our place. Then, He rose
bodily alive from the tomb. His self-sacrifice had completed that
payment perfectly. Now, Christ offers each person salvation from
the penalty and punishment due to sin.
Therefore, there is
now no condemnation for those who admit by repentance their need for
His sacrifice, and who accept by faith His death for them and in
their place on the Cross. He then comes, by the Holy Spirit of God,
to unite Himself with their spirit, giving them a new birth,
bringing about a new creation, a new self in their innermost being.
Christ saves us and frees us from the guilt, condemnation and hold
of sin. He gives us a new life to live, daily.
We live to tell others His liberating “good news”!
The Laver of cleansing water tells of …

Christ, our Sanctifier
Jesus Christ has come, by the
Holy Spirit of God, to dwell in the innermost being of each person
who has personally accepted His sacrifice for them on the Cross.
Now, Christ daily sanctifies them. Moment by moment, He becomes
their source of cleansing from sin, and their source of empowering
for living -- so that they can live a life of righteousness and
holiness.
Therefore, he himself is our
righteousness and holiness. Now, as we determine and discipline
ourselves to depend on Him alone, we can daily live out the inner
reality of His holiness. Christ sanctifies us, imparts His holiness
to us, as we know Him more and more.
We live to know
Him, follow Him, and make Him known as God who makes us holy.

The Pitcher of oil represents …
Christ, our Healer
Jesus Christ became not
only sin for us on the Cross, but also sick for us there, taking
into His body all the diseases and infirmities which afflict people
in this world – diseases and infirmities which have their original
source in sin, in the rebellion against God of the first human
beings on earth.
Now, Christ offers physical and
emotional healing to each person who trusts Him by faith as their
Savior, Sanctifier and Healer. Only He knows how and when that
healing will be completed in our bodies, which are part of a world
continuing to suffer the consequences of sin.
Christ heals us of our all our
diseases and infirmities on the basis of what He has already done on
the Cross, and in the knowledge of what He wills for us.
We live to bring
His hope and His healing to others.

The Crown reminds us of …
Christ, our Coming King
Jesus Christ is risen from the
grave, and sits now at God’s Throne, awaiting the hour and day when
He will return visibly, and finally in judgment and ruling power.
Only God knows the time of His coming -- which is, however, always
imminent. Christ will come soon as King of kings!
We live in and
for His victory already today.

The Globe calls us to follow …
Christ in missions around the world
Jesus Christ has given each of us the privilege and the
responsibility to take the “good news” of His love to the whole
world before He returns. We live a life of purpose – of
sharing His love, of telling about His Cross, of rejoicing in His
victory over death. We live to give hope to people everywhere,
now.
